Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) is TV Queen for year 2014. Initially, TVB arranged Julian Cheung (張智霖) to give TV Queen award to Charmaine Sheh but due to continuous rumours, Julian gave the TV King award only. Julian accepted a telephone interview from ON.CC (東網) and denied about the rumours, and said: "I have no problem to give TV Queen award and we will be attending an event today. (Congratulate her personally?) No chance to see her and will congratulate her shortly."
After getting two awards, Charmaine Sheh's eyes was wet and felt very touched upon seeing her mother and a group of sisters at the filming studio, as well as her fans (around 30) waiting outside TV City. Charmaine expressed she was still at the dreaming stage.
When the presenter announced the winner to TV Queen, the ratings was at 34 pts and became the highest ratings point for TVB Anniversary Awards 2014 (萬千星輝頒獎典禮2014). TVB will be organising a celebration dinner next week.
